This training will review the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills modules (Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness) and then focus on how to apply DBT skills when treating clients with eating disorders. We will discuss the eating disorder behaviors each set of skills addresses and ways the teaching of DBT skills can enhance the treatment of eating disorders.
