Madeline Herman, PsyD. (she/her) earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford’s Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology. Her clinical work has included the facilitation of individual, group and family psychotherapy across residential, inpatient, community mental health, and private practice settings.
Dr. Herman is especially passionate about working with individuals and families who are healing from experiences of trauma and adversity, using evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She is enthusiastic about integrating mindfulness and movement into sessions, and has completed certification in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga from the Justice Resource Institute. In her free time, Dr. Herman enjoys spending time with family and friends, paddle boarding, doing yoga and hanging out with her dog, Ruby.
