MED-DBT: Working Well with Eating Disorder Clients: Behavior Chains and Missing Links Analysis

CE Hours 1.5

About this course

This 90-minute, intermediate workshop delivered live virtually, will teach participants how to use behavior chain analysis to target suicidal ideation (SI) and non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) in the context of eating disorder (ED) symptoms and other comorbidities. Behavioral principles and dialectical strategies will be reviewed to help participants improve movement, speed, and flow of individual therapy sessions. It is hoped that in learning these treatment strategies participants will feel more confident in their ability to treat patients with complex eating disorders.
